Day on the Hill is a dedicated opportunity for nurse leaders from across Minnesota to come together, meet with legislators, share firsthand perspectives, and champion policies that strengthen patient care and the nursing profession. This event empowers nurses to use their voices, build relationships with policymakers, and help shape the future of healthcare in our state.
Event Details
Optional Midday Gathering: At 12:00 PM, participants are invited to gather on the Capitol steps for a group photo and informal networking.
Before You Arrive: Participants should schedule meetings with their legislators ahead of time using their home address, work address, or both.

Please note: Both buildings are a short walk from the Capitol grounds.

Small‑Group Visits: Participants are welcome to pair up with colleagues for small group visits with legislators. This option can make the experience more comfortable—especially for first‑time advocates—and supports a collaborative approach to sharing nursing perspectives.
