MAPS: Leading a New Era of Safety in Minnesota
Minnesota has a long history of advancing patient safety- and the work continues to evolve. This webinar will highlight the role of the Minnesota Alliance for Patient Safety (MAPS), its statewide partnerships, and the growing movement toward proactive, systems-based approaches to strengthening care. Participants will learn how collaborative models like the Caring Safely Tour are accelerating shared learning across hospitals, long-term care, rural settings, and patient partners.
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Describe the statewide role of MAPS in advancing patient safety.
- Identify practical strategies emerging from cross-setting collaboration.
- Consider opportunities to strengthen safety leadership within their own organizations.
